PP25 AN THAI Woven Geotextile in the Long Xuyen City Bypass Project

The National Highway 91 Connecting Route and Long Xuyen City Bypass Project is a major transportation infrastructure project in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta. The project helps reduce traffic pressure through central Long Xuyen while improving regional connectivity between An Giang, Can Tho, and surrounding areas.

For the road foundation works, APT PP25 woven geotextile was supplied and used with a total quantity of 180,000 m².

The project is one of the key transportation infrastructure developments under Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport and forms part of the broader Mekong Delta Connectivity Project. The route passes through Vinh Thanh District and Thot Not District in Can Tho City and Long Xuyen City in An Giang Province. The project investment policy was approved under Decision No. 612/QD-TTg dated May 5, 2017.

Overview of the Long Xuyen City Bypass Project

The project has a total length of 15.3 km and was developed to create a bypass route around the urban area of Long Xuyen, helping reduce traffic congestion and shorten travel time along the transport corridor connecting An Giang, Can Tho, and neighboring areas.

Following completion of construction, the route was officially inaugurated and opened to traffic in June 2024, contributing to the continued development of transportation infrastructure across the Mekong Delta.

PP25 Woven Geotextile
